April 5th, 200603:44 pm: Pirates are gay - a catharsis of me
Okay, I dunno when Pirates became so damn trendy, but they suck okay? Ninjas are way cooler. So you can all go Yo Ho Ho yourselves to death, cuz when push comes to shove, some ninja is gonna sneak up on ya and skewer you with his katana, see? There is nothing more badass than sneaking around silently and getting pumped to kick some ass...while dressed in all black with a sword! That being said, I guess I could make note of some important things goin on in life. The last month has seen the heightening of my relationship with Courtney, the success of finding a conclusion Alien-o-suckwadsofass, and the clearing of my path to a successful future. Basically, we commanded Alienware to comply or the holy wrath of the favorite American threat was coming down on them. After I contacted the President of the company and the senior support representative, they finally decided to help me out rather than tell me to get a philips head screw driver and look at the damn thing over the phone myself...so fuck them, and the donkey they rode in on...I win, and the result of this is that when I get my computer returned, they are building me a completely new computer with BETTER system specs than when I bought the damned thing, since it's 7 months out of date now. Therefore...the new configuration is as follows...and yes...feel free to drool, but not on the keyboard...and remember, the family that sues together, stays together. Aurora 7500 Black Chasis Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4600+ Mhz AlienICE liquid cooling in Fusion Red 3 gigs of DDR dual channel PC3200 RAM Nvidia 256 mb Geforce 7900 video card 400 GB non-RAID 7200 RPM Seagate Hard-drive 16x Dual Layer DVD +-R/W combo drive 1 year of gAlienware care w/ SUPPOSED on-site service* *(I asked for onsite service more than once and they denied it to me on all accounts) Basically, I wont have a kickass pro monitor like Pete's insance widescreen display on his G5, but I'll have a piece of hardware to chew up and spit out video like it's no one's business. Assuming the thing works...so it all depends on how Juan or Pedro are feeling the day they decide to build my computer the day it rolls off the assembly line. Lets see what else has been happening...aw yes...said I would talk about Spring Break a while ago...anyway, it was lovely. Hense, the whole, deepening of my love for Courtney...never thought it was possible to love someone so deeply. She's the absolute complementary soul to mine. Like peas and carrots...peanut butter and jelly. I always questioned whether I would find the right person for me, but it seems she has answered that question. Our destiny seems clear at this point...in a year, we'll be together and loving life. I know a year seems like a long time, but we've defied the odds up til now - there is no reason to think anything will change in a year's time. Just have to stick it out til the end. Again, I promise to post pictures when I get a chance...for those that havent seen them, you can check myspace for a taste of some of the silly pictures we took. In the last week, my schedule saw the demise of Pre-Production. See ya later Mrvica...I'll take that class next semester when someone else is teaching it and makes me care about what I'm doing. Yes, I was rather lazy and sluffed it off whenever I got the chance, but the rigid structure of the class seemed to give little wiggle room for innovation - she only wanted to teach us how to make A.B.C. Hollywood style narratives for our scripts and blahs to that. I applaud Mike for his work in writing a decent script, but sadly, all this was taking place at the same time Peter, Mike and I were making our 5 day film project - and planning on actually doing something for real in Intermediate Film/Video...it just seemed silly to do the proposal work for a movie/script that was not ever going to be made. I enjoyed Mike's story, but I suppose I would have rather done my own thing like a couple fo the people in the class were doing. Anyway, coupled with the constant worry of doing well and succeeding in life...and missing Courtney like the day is long...I've found this to be a rather difficult semester. I lost my drive and my will to strive like I have been doing all along. I have to recapture that by this summer, because the sooner I leave here, the sooner I can get back to her. Life is so much easier when we're together...we build off one another's creative drive and keep our endorphins flowing...hehe...so to speak. But yeah, I am always much...MUCH...better off knowing she's within the feet boundary of me. Yes...6 feet is the maximum distance she is allowed away....=) Our realistic plan of having her come stay with me for the summer seems to be coming to fruition, minus the constant worry of getting a job or what to do about getting one. The last week, has made me sit back and really analyze myself and what I have done to be creative or destructive during the course of the semester. I realized that my constant loathing, and reclusive behavior can be attributed to missing her constantly...yes, I'm that attached...sue me. If you knew this girl like I did, you'd probably be just in love with her...although, you wouldnt be allowed to because she's mine! Mu wa ha...ha..yes, mine. So, as the old cliche goes, the double edged sword is indicative of my constant sadness and reclusiveness...so, if you're a friend of mine that I havent paid any attention to in the last few months...I'm sorry...I will endeavor to be better, just bare with me. So, this has been my catharsis...and yes, I love that word...and if you have taken the time to read all this, I applaud you - because I feel a lot better having poured it all out here....later! February 1st, 200605:33 pm: Ha, D&D is fun.
I Am A: Chaotic Evil Half-OrcFighter Mage Alignment:Chaotic Evil characters are the most 'evil' people out there. They are willing to do anything to get ahead, and will kill anyone who stands in their way. A chaotic evil person sees no value in order and governments, and believes to the utmost in the tenant that 'Might Makes Right'. Race:Half-Orcs are a cross between a human and an orc. Generally, this kind of mating does not occur willingly, so half-orcs are almost never raised by a full set of parents. They tend to be less intelligent and attractive than humans, but are generally stronger and hardier. Violence is a part of their nature, and few half-orcs manage to overcome this to follow other professions. They are generally treated with disdain by other races, if not outright hostility. Primary Class:Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer. Secondary Class:Mages harness the magical energies for their own use. Spells, spell books, and long hours in the library are their loves. While often not physically strong, their mental talents can make up for this. Deity:Talos is the Chaotic Evil god of storms, forest fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, and destruction in general. He is also known as the Destroyer. His followers fear him more than worship him, and they revel in the destructive fury of nature - while praying to be spared from its wrath. Talos's symbol is three lightning bolts, of different colors, coming from a central point. Find out What D&D Character Are You?, courtesy of NeppyMan (e-mail)

December 21st, 200512:34 pm: Funny Story...
So yeah, I forgot to mention this because I have been so busy in the last couple weeks with Courtney leaving, and the finishing of two pieces. Anyway. Pete and I are getting back from our shoot, and are pulling into the Ross parking lot. We figure that there aren't going to be any spots whatsoever...but we proceed to traverse the lot anywho. "Ah, ha!" Says Pete...as we spy a gaggle of three poorly dressed slutty girls walking towards their supposed vehicle. -Jaws theme plays in our heads- We proceed to stalk them to their car, and then see that they indeed get inside their little sedan. Before getting in, I turn on my blinker - as there are other cars stalking the lot. However, these girls have other plans. They don't think they'll have their spot sharked tonight. So they take their time and chat outside for a while - then finally get in...we think, "yess...now we can park." Of course, this is not the case. They just sit inside of their car for a few more minutes...then decide to turn it on...and sit for a few more minutes. Pete lights up a cigarette to pass the time. "Bitches," he mutters. So we wait, in the cold, with our gear...me still freezing from having just shot our film in the ice cold snow water down under the civic center bridge. "They aren't going anywhere," we decide. Pete comes up with a brilliant idea. "Dude, back up and turn your lights off so they can't see you." I mull this over for a few seconds and decide to accommodate Pete's request. So, I back up. About 40 feet...and turn off the lights, and the whole car. And not even a second after, they put on their back up lights and start pulling out. I think, "ah ha!" They are finally leaving because their car is warmed up. After all these are girls...they are obviously going somewhere important to get banged in the ass or something. So I turn my lights back on, and start moving forward...only to see them pull back into the spot. Dark thoughts start raging through my mind. These bitches must be having a great time denying someone else a spot that will be taken in less than 10 mins after their departure. Sadly, I am too cold, and probably hypothermic to be formulating any thoughts...I felt in a daze, similar to Hunter Thompson no doubt, thinking to myself, "is this really happening? Could they have heard me..." I envisioned throwing something at them or perhaps ramming their vehicle, Fried Green Tomatoes style, but those thoughts were quickly dismissed as logic took over. As I was about to leave, we spotted another group of gals heading for a car directly across from the one deviously remaining parked. They promptly leave, and I park my car. By now, all dark thoughts have evaporated...Pete suggests, we do something to their car, but I do not entertain the notion. I pulled my hood up ad the frigid air hit me once more, and proceed to unload the equipment in the back of my car. For some reason, I pull my hood up, because I am ashamed...ashamed for them and their silliness of guarding something so trivial, as a parking spot. We walk away, and make no gestures or motions towards them...and as we exit, I turn to see them leave finally when they decide we are far enough away not to be noticed. Pathetic. As I meandered back to Russ, I thanked them. Thanked them for giving me a great idea for a short movie!! Haha. So the real victory was mine...in this duel of wits. Though they may never see it, I will eviscerate them in fiction. And write this short movie to over-illustrate their stupidity. And I didn't even have to get them back by doing any physical damage to their car and what not...as any attack would have been met with reprisal. Hehe. The End. Simmons What Red vs Blue Charecter are you? brought to you by QuizillaSo, she is gone...watched her drive away. Don't know when I'll see her next here at FSC, unless I go down there to see her. It can work. We stayed up till about 4 last night, packing away. Then woke up promptly at 7 and rolled out the crap to start packing. She drove off to Boston to pick up her dad, then came back. We packed some more...and then she was off. It's still a little surreal. I know we're good and all, but I can't help but feel rattled by watching her leave. Once more, beset by the ironies of my life. Perhaps, I'm just crazy and this is the result of some fuzzy headed, lack of sleep, realization...either way, I miss her so much - it really hurts. So - besides that, I'll try and focus on what needs to get done...and in a week, we'll be spending Consumer-mas together. Train roll on... Whoa...what a night. An adventure to say the least. That started with...Austin and Liz coming. Then went to Ninja! Where we watched the sword fighters. Then went to mara, and back to Russ...and then, out again. To get China. And the packy was an adventure all its own. I managed to get a parking ticket cuz the stupid campus po-pos cant see my sticker clearly on my back window...idiots. I guess I'll take a pic of my car when I go to appeal it. Then I turned the wrong way on a 1 way street...yeah, that was awesome. Go me. So after much stress and trying to keep everyone happy, we got back to school and got pretty intoxicated...for fun. With the Kings and the Fucking of the Dealer...of course, I got to be the dealer last...so I got pretty fucked...then I had to be a mna and do the shot, but that wasnt manly of me, cuz I stumbled back home and got sick. Then I got taken care of to Saved! But Saved! didnt do anything for me...damn you Jesus. So I puked again and passe dout. And woke up to my beautiful girlfriend. The end. 02:34 am: Cry for attention
Yeah, so this is what I feel. But seeing as how I just want to annoy people to get a rise and attract attention...I think I'll do it in the most repulsive way possible. Cuz that makes sense. This is what the idea that once or maybe never stood for the ideal that has come to be shredded by our modern day construct of a nation ruled by nationalists and neo-cons. Go zieg heil and wrap yourselves in the flag to save yourself from the horrible prospects of someone that might disagree...Blind faith in bad government is not patriotism. Nor is stating that current regime in charge is corrupt. Why should I move to Canada - this is my home. Democracy in action = me exercising the right to dissent. Fuck you, you hypocrites that lambast me just for disagreeing. You can take a flag pole and ram it up your ass for all I care. Some of us are just fed up with the death, destruction, lies and mis-use of the idea that was once America. I don't think my uncle deserved to be mowed under with the rest...nor do I think these poor bastards died for our Freedom. All you have to do is go here( http://www.ogrish.com/) and witness some of the chaos of a war most of you now think is wrong, only after it's popular to think so...when you were making fun of us for protesting it from the beginning...and witness what our country has unleashed. If you're not angry about it like me, or you think I'm just a crazy hippie, or you just dont care...Well...I got nothing more to say to you I guess.
